upcoming event - Symposium on Genocide, Justice and Human Rights

The CUNY Academy for the Humanities and Sciencs is pleased to announce its first event of the new academic year. This is the Academy's Symposium on Genocide, Justice and Human Rights. The Symposium will be on Friday September 7th. This is an all-day event that runs from 9 AM to 6 PM in the Graduate Center's Room C197.Speakers include

• Samuel Moyn, Columbia University; 

• Eric Weitz, City College; 

• Devin Pendas, Boston College; 

• Jens Meierhenrich, London School of Economics; 

• Marcia Esparza, John Jay College; 

• Brad Simpson, Princeton University; 

• Bridget Conley-Zilkic, Tufts University.
